Reports from the Hindenburg* stated that a pitch up or down of more then
5 degrees was considered uncomfortable to passengers, and was to be
avoided, even if it meant deviating from the desired altitude. As for
roll, most airships don’t have roll controls, as gravity generally keeps
the quite heavy cabin below the lighter balloon/envelope. To conclude:
No, most Zeppelins shouldn’t be capable of these maneuvers. That
doesn’t stop Mad Science. Nothing stops Mad Science!
